Dom Perignon: Craftsmanship at the highest level

30th October

On the notcot blog, someone who lives a slightly more glamorous life than my own (and loves to record every second of it online) took receipt of a goodie-bag from Dom Perignon. It’s matte black, elegant and focussed on detail as one would expect – the cards included have silver edging, for example. But what caught my eye was the calligraphy used on the personal invitation. In a digital age, where craftsmanship is often used to convey prestige, it really stands head and shoulders apart from much one sees from the competition. If your brand talks the artisan high quality talk, this is how to walk the walk. It’s about making effort, not expediency and a glossy veneer. And it’s the opposite of a one size fits all approach.
